If you're expecting a horror movie or even a ghost story, you will be disappointed. If you really want to see this movie (because of Tom Hiddleston like me) I think it is not too scary and if you want, you can close your eyes or look away. The most disturbing was the scene in the bathroom at the beginning. If you are easily scared by ghosts, I don’t recommend it, but after watching this movie I came to the conclusion that the ghosts are indeed just a PART of the story. I would not call this movie a horror, more like a mystery-thriller. In the end I watched the entire movie with only looking away once. I had to look away, but then again, that moment was predictable. At the beginning there was a scene in a bathroom which was more gory-like. There were some stabbings, which were not very graphic.

However, there is a violence and blood in this movie. The jump scares are announced through a tense atmosphere.įor me, the ghosts were not that scary. There are several minor jump scares throughout the movie, but all of them are predictable. These ghosts appear as more skeletal beings. The ghosts in this movie aren’t standard ghost-like appearances. This is a perfect description of the movie. The story, as mentioned in the beginning of the movie, is not a ghost story, but a story with ghosts in it. Having watched IT I knew not all ‘’horrors’’ had to be scary. Normally I don’t watch horrors, because they scare me easily.
